RELIANCE is a pragmatic clinical trial of two guideline-recommended medications, roflumilast and azithromycin, and is unique as the first pulmonary study to use PCORnet. Participants on this podcast include Dr. Jerry Krishnan, the Principal Investigator, Dr. Robert Wise, a co-investigator, Elisha Malanga, the chief research officer of the COPD Foundation, Jean Rommes, a COPD patient, and Kim Erwin, an assistant professor with the IIT Institute of Design who produces user-centered experiences.
