Today, Dr. Francesca Polverino sits down with Dr. Enid Neptune to discuss advances and controversies in our understanding of the pathogenesis of COPD, with a particular emphasis on early COPD. Dr. Polverino is Assistant Professor of Medicine and head of the translational COPD laboratory within the Asthma and Airway Disease Research Center at University of Arizona. Dr. Neptune is Associate Professor of Medicine and leads the COPD Discovery Research team at Johns Hopkins University.
