TRAINEE TRAVEL AWARD TO ATS 2012

Interested in applying for one of the 2012 trainee travel awards? Or do you know someone who may be?

If so, you can learn more about the Minority Trainee Travel Award (MTTA) or the Resident Travel Award (RTA) online. The deadline for applications for both awards is Friday, March 2.

The goal of the MTTA is to increase the representation in pulmonology, critical care, and sleep medicine and research of underrepresented minorities by providing an opportunity for trainees in U.S. programs to attend the ATS International Conference.

The RTA for internal medicine and pediatric residents is aimed at increasing the physician workforce in clinical and research careers in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine by providing exposure to the excitement of the scientific, translational and clinical information presented at the ATS International Conference.

Both travel award programs are supported by educational grants from Merck.
