ATS Resources

A91: Career Development Symposium: Transitioning to a Successful Academic Career (Part II):

Educational Resources

The Best of ATS webcast series offers the latest research and clinical care in pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine that was presented at ATS 2011.  You can review presentations and slides with synchronized audio from anywhere, and earn CME credit at the same time.

Full conference registrants access 2011 Webcasts (excluding PG courses) for free for one year.

Mentoring Resources

The Members In Transition and Training (MITT) Committee, along with the guidance of longtime ATS member, Charles Irvin, MD, have identified several key articles that have been written on the topic of mentoring.  We hope this collection of resources provide invaluable insight on how to be a good mentee, as well as how to find a good mentor.

Assemblies

Assemblies are subdivisions of the Society composed of members and affiliates with like interests within the broad fields of respiratory disease and critical care medicine. The purpose of an assembly is to improve the collection, interpretation, and dissemination of information, improve communication among the members, and participate in the planning of the International Conference. Assemblies are also responsible for creating and updating ATS Statements and Position Papers. Each ATS member may choose to join one primary assembly and up to two secondary assemblies.
