Faculty Development Resources
|
Background: In June 2009, under the auspices of the International Conference and Education Committees, ATS staff provided a webinar series to selected ATS leaders on new requirements for CME. The purpose was to prepare faculty and course planners for the International Conference 2010. One purpose was to introduce faculty to a new symposium proposal form and special CME concepts imbedded in its directions. Another was to prepare reviewers of submissions to judge the proposals in part on the thoroughness of the instructional design. Instead of placing the webinar materials on a “landing page”, staff decided to place them on a more visible and permanent place on the ATS Website in an effort to keep important dialog going and to continually add new interested leaders into the community.
