Tools for Chapters and Other Organizations Jointly Sponsoring a CME Event With ATS

Obtaining CME Sponsorship

  • Applicants to ATS for joint CME sponsorship must submit documentation of their planning for the event. Examples of attachments are provided in Part I of this toolbox.
  • A post event report to ATS serves to document how the event was carried out and provides a record of attendance and awards. The ACCME, AMA, government and other parties supporting the event will need all or parts of this report. Examples of submissions are provided in Part II of this toolbox.
  • The word "required" in the Table of Contents below indicates a form that must be used as is. The words "sample" or " model" indicate the applicant should customize the example to suit the situation.
  • Please contact Rachel Makleff, Ph.D., Director, Tactical Management and CME Development, ATS at 212 315 8644 or rmakleff@thoracic.org if questions arise.
