Critical Care Societies Collaborative Encourages Support for Pakistan Recovery
The Critical Care Societies Collaborative (CCSC) is saddened by the recent flooding in Pakistan.
The widespread devastation has affected millions, leaving many without clean water, food, shelter and access to health care. Many of those affected are valued and respected members of CCSC organizations, including the American College of Chest Physicians, American Thoracic Society, American Association of Critical-Care Nurses and Society of Critical Care Medicine.
The CCSC recognizes that Pakistan will require significant resources to recover from this terrible tragedy. We encourage our members to support the country’s relief and recovery efforts by donating to Pakistan Health Cluster organizations identified by the World Health Organization.
We join our thoughts to those of our colleagues and the people of Pakistan as they rebuild their homes, communities and lives.
