Expert On Fiber and Lung Health - Video: National Nutrition Month
People can impact their own health, says Corrine Hanson, PhD, RD, author of an important new study on dietary fiber and lung disease. In this video she discusses the results of her study, which showed that a diet rich in fiber may reduce the risk of developing lung disease. This is good news for people seeking ways to control their own health especially during National Nutrition Month.
The study, “The Relationship between Dietary Fiber Intake and Lung Function in NHANES,” was published online in the January 2016 issue of the Annals of the American Thoracic Society.
