Member categories

ATS members work in academic settings, hospitals, and private practice, and are

MDs, PhDs, nurses, respiratory therapists and other allied health professionals.

Many members are in training or are early career professionals, and one third of all

members live and work outside the U.S. Individuals may join as:

U.S. and international members who are in good standing and who meet certain

criteria may convert to Senior or Emeritus member status and receive all benefits,

and electronic access to the journals. Contact ATS at

Affiliate members receive lesser discounts. The AJRCMB and AnnalsATS journals are electronic
