FOSTERING SCIENTIFIC EXCHANGE AND DIALOGUE – THE

INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE

The annual ATS International Conference is one of the largest pulmonary,

critical care and sleep conferences in the U.S. Its strength is that it is

multidisciplinary. Beyond the Society’s three pillars – pulmonary, critical

care, and sleep – clinicians and researchers in many other fields also

attend the conference leading to insights that ultimately improve patient

care. Nearly half of conference attendees are international clinicians and

scientists, demonstrating the value of the program to medical professionals

around the world. It truly is where “Today’s Science Meets Tomorrow’s Care.”®
