The current issue is “Patient Voices 12: Mental and Emotional Health of Patients and Families”

Published annually in the fall, the “Patient Voices” series highlights 15-20 patient stories from the ATS International Conference. These inspiring patients present at educational sessions to explain their disease-related experiences to health care professionals and scientists. Their goal is to put a face to their diagnosis, providing an intimate look into the disease’s impact on their daily lives. Their stories include accounts of misdiagnosis and struggle, of heartbreak and hope – in their own words.
