ATS Roadmap

The Road Map is a pocket booklet that highlights core sessions that residents, fellows, post docs and junior professionals may be interested in. It was developed in an effort to make navigating the conference easier for first-time attendees as well as maximize the overall experience.

ATS Toolkits

The American Thoracic Society (ATS) Virtual Fellowship Kit, is designed to introduce Fellows who as of July 1, 2012, have entered into a Pulmonary, Critical Care or Sleep Fellowship program. This online kit will introduce Fellows to the ATS and make it easier for them to navigate and understand how the ATS works.

Fellows Corner

This column, which runs episodically in the ATS News, addresses issues of interest to fellows and trainees in a question and answer format. To date, ATS members have weighed in on contract negotiation, preparing for board exams, navigating the transition from fellow to junior faculty and assuming the role of consultant.

Mentoring Corner

The Members In Transition and Training (MITT) Committee, along with the guidance of longtime ATS member, Charles Irvin, MD, have identified several key articles that have been written on the topic of mentoring.  We hope this collection of resources provide invaluable insight on how to be a good mentee, as well as how to find a good mentor.
