The 2017 PC Mentoring Program is now closed.
Check back next year in February for the 2018 PC Mentoring Program.

Goals

  1. To Support junior faculty and trainees through individual mentorship by established colleagues in the ATS community
  2. To provide opportunities for participation in PC assembly activities for early career professionals
  3. To help early career professionals and trainees navigate the ATS international conference and take full advantage of the resources available

Expectations for Mentors

  1. Upon matching with one or more mentees, we recommend a short introduction either by phone, email, or social networking prior to the ATS international conference
  2. Arrange a face to face meeting during the ATS international conference
  3. Attend the PC assembly reception just prior to the PC Assembly business meeting on Monday May 16th

Expectations for Mentees

  1. Upon matching with your mentor, we recommend a short introduction either by phone, email, or social networking prior to the ATS international conference
  2. Identify shared goals with your mentor regarding a face to face meeting at the ATS international conference and any continued communication after the conference
  3. Identify key areas in which you feel mentorship will help your career goals and personal development
  4. Plan to attend the ATS PC Assembly reception just prior to the PC Assembly business meeting on Monday May 16th
