Our primary goal is to help trainees and junior faculty navigate ATS and get involved in the Assembly. We have the following objectives.

  1. To help early career professionals get involved with ongoing Assembly projects
  2.  To have early career professional representation on Assembly committees including Planning and Programming Committees
  3.  To facilitate career development and networking between early career professionals and Assembly leadership
  4.   To include early career professionals in Assembly activities by serving as session facilitators and moderators

Mentoring Program

BSHSR has a mentoring program with the goal of connecting early career professions in behavior science and health services research as well as medical education.

Apprenticeship Program

BSHSR has an apprenticeship program with the goal of placing early career professionals on the Programming and Planning committes with mentorship from the committee chairs.

Medical Education

BSHSR is the home for the Section on Medical Education. We offer mentoring and resources for early career medical educators.
