  • LTV 1200 Carefusion Ventilator can be used for invasive and non-invasive ventilation.

  • Two types of breath can be administered by pushing the select button: pressure or volume control.

  • Different modes of ventilation that can be selected by pressing the select button: control mode, assist control, synchronized intermittent mechanical ventilation, and continuous positive airway pressure.

  • The display consists of airway pressure at the top, a main display below, a control display outlined in blue and an alarm display outlined in red.

  • When a control display is bright, it indicates that it is active and when dim indicates it is inactive.

  • Alarm displays, if flashing, indicate that an alarm is occurring. To change a control or alarm value, press the button below the display, toggle the circular set value button to the desired number, and then press the button below the display again to activate.
